PITTSBURGH (WJAC) — According to Pittsburgh Pirates beat writer Jason Mackey, the team has reportedly agreed to a five-year contract extension with starting pitcher Mitch Keller.
The new contract extension is reportedly worth $77 million.
Keller was drafted by Pittsburgh in 2014 and made his MLB debut in 2019.
Keller is coming off one of his best seasons, where he posted a record of 13-9, with a 4.21 ERA, and was selected to the 2023 MLB All-Star Game.
In five seasons with the Pirates, Keller has posted a career ERA of 4.71 in 100 total starts.
