Pitt men's basketball coach tests positive for COVID-19, will miss team's next game

Pittsburgh, Pa (WJAC) — University of Pittsburgh men's basketball coach Jeff Capel has reportedly tested positive for the coronavirus, according to a team release.

As a result, Capel will miss the team's next game, on Dec. 22, against Louisville.

The university said that no other members of the program have tested positive for the virus.

Pitt is 5-1 overall on the young season and 1-0 in conference play.
