JOHNSTOWN — Meyersdale football defeated Conemaugh Valley, 20-14, in thrilling fashion.
The Red Raiders grabbed a 14-0 halftime lead, thanks to a pair of Devin Kretchman touchdown runs.
But, Conemaugh Valley fought back to tie the game at 14-14 in the second half.
Meyersdale scored a touchdown, as time expired. Red Raider quarterback Mahlon Reese found John Harvey for a 4-yard scoring connection.

Police response to Vicosa case under examination by PA AG
YORK COUNTY, Pa. — Four days after a CBS21 News investigation revealed a 24-hour delay in the execution of a search warrant and PFA in the Robert Vicosa case, we continue to dig deeper for answers. The York County District Attorney is taking steps to find out what happened in the case, even bringing in the Pennsylvania Attorney General for help.
“This was a selfish and senseless act of violence that has shaken each and everyone of us to our core,” said York County District Attorney Dave Sunday.
Rookie Chase Claypool scores 4 total TDs in Steelers 38-29 win over the Eagles
Pittsburgh, Pa (WJAC) — Rookie WR Chase Claypool had a breakout performance Sunday in the Steelers' 38-29 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles.
Claypool scored four total touchdowns Sunday, helping lift Pittsburgh over their cross-state rivals.
According to ESPN stats and info, Claypool hauled in 7 passes for 110 yards and scored three of his touchdown through the air, including the game-ending scored with just under three-minutes remaining in the game.

Centre County to raise pay for govt. employees
CENTRE CO., Pa. (WJAC) — Centre County Commissioners approved a plan Thursday to raise salaries of county government employees.
6 News spoke with one of the commissioners about this.
As the cost of living rises in Centre County and other parts of the country, Commissioner Michael Pipe told 6 News he hopes this will make county government jobs more competitive.

Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — A local collector showed off his Spider-Man collection in Cambria County Wednesday.
Bruce Wechtenhiser says he has been collecting Spider-Man comic books and memorabilia for more than 50 years and calls himself the world's biggest Spider-Man fan.
Wechtenhiser is from Johnstown, which is also the hometown of Steve Ditko, the co-creator of the character.

Moshannon Valley YMCA Christmas Program to Give Away Presents Sunday in Annual Tradition
PHILIPSBURG/CENTRE COUNTY, Pa — With the holiday season right around the corner, holiday shopping is on everyone’s mind but for those less fortunate, Christmas is not always so merry.
The Moshannon Valley YMCA in Philipsburg has been doing their part in fixing that for over 40 years.
They’ll be handing out gifts to hundreds of children this Sunday at the Moshannon Valley Enterprise Center, and while COVID has made it harder to shop, the Christmas program’s commitment hasn’t changed.

Suspect in Route 403 body dump, homicide pleads not guilty; will go to trial
Cambria Co., PA (WJAC) — Authorities say one of two individuals charged in connection to the death of a Johnstown area man whose body was found dumped along a local roadway over the summer will soon head to trial after pleading not guilty in the case.
Officials say Justin Green appeared in court earlier this week where he entered the plea to all the charges he is facing, which include criminal homicide and abuse of a corpse.
